Due to our expansion and market leading position we are constantly looking for new staff.

Positions Vacant

Thomas Whayman McCarthy is always in search of experienced licensed factual investigators to fill the new positions presented by our expansion and market leading position. We are also regularly in search of dedicated secretarial staff to join the team in our busy head office.

We require people who pride themself on their loyalty, integrity, professionalism and who have a proactive approach to business and clients.

We welcome expressions of interest from both experienced licensed factual investigators or persons possessing a strong desire to learn.

Surveillance Positions

Successful applicants will need to demonstrate integrity beyond reproach and the following minimum requirements:

  • Hold a current Inquiry Agents licence or be eligible to obtain same.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a progressive, ethical and professional investigation firm.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • A professional and ethical approach to investigations, be highly motivated and
    dedicated to meeting client requirements.

Training assistance provided.

 

Factual Investigation Positions

Successful applicants will need to demonstrate integrity beyond reproach and the following minimum requirements:-

  • Hold a current Inquiry Agents license.
  • Have a minimum of 6 months investigative experience.
  • Be currently employed within the industry.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent understanding of public liability claims and common law principles; general insurance claims, including stolen motor vehicle; motor vehicle accident and household claims.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills in the investigation of the above claims.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a progressive, ethical and professional investigation firm.
  • Have excellent communication skills, together with a professional business presentation.
  • Must demonstrate a professional and ethical approach to investigations, must be highly motivated and dedicated to meeting client requirements.

Training assistance provided.

Administrative Support Positions

To succeed in this role, you will have a mature approach, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

You will be pleasant and friendly and be looking for a flexible environment within an organization that respects and understands it’s employees.

Previous exposure to the insurance/legal industry will be advantageous, however is not essential.
